|
|
My grandmother passed away in February and before she passed away she was in the process of collecting cookbooks and recipe cards because she was making a cookbook out of all of the recipes that she enjoyed. Well since she has passed i would like to finish up where she left off and i want to finish put her cookbook together and possibly get it published or at least make about 20 or 30 copies to give to some people in her memory. So if anyone could help me find some cookbooks and recipe cards that would be great! I am going to find all of the good recipes then type them all up, print them off, and probably have them binded.. So please if you have time help me look around. i have searched and have found some but not too many.. Thank you for your time!
In memory of my Magaw |

Try the food network website. I love their recipes. I recently tried this one for lemon bars. SO YUMMY!!

Lemon Bars Recipe courtesy Paula Deen
Show: Paula's Home Cooking
Crust:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup confectioners' sugar, plus more for dusting
Pinch salt
2 sticks butter, at room temperature, plus more for greasing
Filling:
4 eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9 by 13 by 2-inch pan.
Make the crust by combining the flour, confectioners' sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Cut in the butter to make a crumbly mixture. Press the mixture into the prepared pan. You may need to dip your fingers into a little flour or confectioners' sugar to keep the dough from sticking to your fingers. Bake for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, to make the filling, mix the eggs, granulated sugar, flour, and lemon juice. Pour this over the baked crust and bake for 25 minutes longer. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if desired, when the bars are done.

Here are a few of my favorites
Easy Easy Banana Bread
· 3 large ripe bananas
· 2 cups self-rising flour
· 1 cup sugar
· 1/2 cup oil
· 2 eggs, lightly beaten
· 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
Mash the bananas with a fork. Stir the flour and sugar together and mix with the bananas, oil, and eggs. Fold in the nuts, if desired. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325F, until golden brown. _________________ Coupon Codes ~ FREE Registration ~ DaddyoDeals Hottest Deals
