How to Choose a Store to Shop at on Black Friday
When it comes to shopping on Black Friday, there’s no way that you can go without having a plan first. Having a plan ensures that you get the best deals without wasting a huge amount of your time. There are so many stores that are open for Black Friday and offering you fabulous deals, so how do you choose which store to stop at?
Make sure to decide the key items that you need and want to buy. Whether it’s clothes or a specific electronic that you‘re interested in buying, you can narrow down your options of where to go when you know what you want. Not to mention you’re less likely to buy items that you don’t need and spend more money then you should.
Do your research. Check the fliers and ads for the stores that have the items that you want with the discounts that are worth it. You don’t want to get into the store to find out that you’re not getting such a great deal after all. The best place to find out what the stores are really offering is online, where you can check for information that has been leaked ahead of time. Then compare those deals to the prices from other competitors.
Decide how long you are willing to wait outside in order to get in the store. For certain stores, you have to wait up to 12 hours just to be one of the first people in line and be let in at midnight. Consider that you will have to sit outside through possible rain and cold and you still may not get the deals that you want.
Consider going to lesser known stores. In some cases, I’ve found that not only do they have shorter, if no, lines but that you get great deals that the more well known stores are offering and sometimes, even better deals.
Think about how far you’re willing to drive and if it’s worth it to you. Some stores you may not have near you and you’ll have to travel to get there,, only to possibly buy nothing.
Depending on the stores, it may be a good idea to shop at outlets that are offering Black Friday deals. Not only are their prices already discounted from their non-outlet stores, but you can go to many stores in one area and get all the shopping over with without having to drive all over the place.
