eDay is every Monday between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

...

A study done by online data analysis company, Atlas, forecasts the busiest online shopping day this year will be Dec. 12. But, according to Coremetrics data, the highest online sales day won't come until Dec. 4, a day now coined as eDay. Beyond eDay, Coremetrics is forecasting the next four largest days for online retail sales will be Dec. 5, 6, 11, 12.

...

While it seems to make sense that the Monday after Thanksgiving might ring in with the most online sales, given that people returning to their daily lives might be logging in some shopping time from work and home, it may very well be eDay instead.

According to Coremetrics, a provider of on-demand web analytics, "online cash registers will ring the loudest on Monday, December 4" which they have coined as eDay.

To further define peak online shopping days, Coremetrics provided the following additional peak-traffic predictions:

After eDay, Coremetrics predicts the next four largest days for online retail sales will be the Monday one week after eDay, the Wednesday after eDay, the Tuesday after eDay, and the Tuesday one week after eDay.

So what does that mean to eCommerce sites? While marketing campaigns, promotional sales and pay-per-click search marketing campaigns should already be planned (with some in full swing), online retailers might want to target the gift-buying holiday audience, in particular, on eDay.
