As you know, women often invest a lot of time and money to look and feel beautiful. To celebrate National Women's Health Week (May 11-17) the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Office of Women's Health encourages women to get the most out of their health and beauty products by following the directions. Our message to women today is “Take Time To Care about … Health and Beauty”.
We are offering a free Health and Beauty Kit that includes tools to help women make informed choices about the cosmetics and other products they use everyday. This collection of fact sheets is available in English or Spanish. This is just another example of the ways FDA has been working to promote the safe use of health and beauty products since the landmark Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act was signed in 1938.
