I saw a commercial this morning while watching the CBS Early Show that showed the A2. The commercial shows a woman and she is talking about doing great things, and she says she is buying her husband an HD DVD Player from Toshiba. While she is talking they show a close up of the Player. They don't mention the price, but she says she was surprised by the price, even by Wal-mart. _________________ Check out all the latest Amazon Promotional Codes, Coupons and Deals Updated Monthly at the top of the Hot Deals Forum! |

I've read from a couple places that the $198 price tag is a front, that the price on the HD-DVD player is really $99.
$99 seems plausible. Please read this article:
Toshiba selling $99-HD-DVD Player with a catch
There is also another factor: WM is aware of the A3 HD-DVD (newer model) is going to be sold at Sears for $169 during black friday. _________________ Check out all the latest Amazon Promotional Codes, Coupons and Deals Updated Monthly at the top of the Hot Deals Forum! |

It is $197.99 on Amazon right now Here with no tax and free shipping. If it is indeed $198 at Walmart, why would the Walmart sale be such a secret??

My bet is that it will be $100, because obviously if these are already selling for $198 they wouldnt have thrown in the whole "surprised at the price" hook. |

CLICK HERE to see the Deal at Best Buy
Toshiba - HD DVD High-Definition DVD Player $99.99
Yesterday Best Buy ran the Toshiba HD-A2 for $169 on-line and in-store. This morning the price was lowered to $99.99. I suppose this is to compete with Wal-Mart. They are sold out online, but there are several Best Buy locations near me that show them as being in stock. If you bought from Best Buy in the last 30 days for a higher price, or any other retailer that price matches, immediately get it price matched at the store you bought from to get a refund for the difference. _________________

Product Description:
You don't need to know a thing about music to shred it up like a rock star. The Power Tour Electric Guitar lets you jam out, teaches you basic guitar lessons and classic rock anthems, and even plays your music from your MP3 player. Recommended for ages 10 to 15 years old, this toy electric guitar will help jumpstart your rock career! The Power Tour Electric Guitar can teach basic guitar lessons. View larger. What We Think Fun Factor: Durability: (what this means) The Good: No musical experience required The Bad: Guitar strap difficult to attach In a Nutshell: Toy guitar with easy-to-learn basic guitar lessons At a Glance Ages: 10 and up Requires: 4 AA batteries (not included) Compact Guitar Lights Up When Played Made by Tiger Electronics, this miniature electric guitar packs tons of different sounds into compact, 22-inch Gibson SG design. This guitar is constructed with durable plastic with a black body, white pick guard, and a black nylon strap with leather ends. But unlike a Gibson, the special strum and touch sensors takes the place of strings, lighting up when you play, making the Power Tour electric guitar fun and easy to master. Strumming with your thumb instead of a pick, you can learn songs and riffs on your own, with band accompaniment, or with the built-in lessons and famous rock songs. Switching to speaker mode and plugging in your MP3 player, you can even rock out to your favorite tunes with flashing lights. Easy-To-Learn Lessons and Rock Classics Even beginners who've never held a guitar before can develop playing skills with easy-to-learn lessons like "Basic Strumming Blues" and "Intro to Hammer-Ons" and "Punkitude." Whether you into metal or punk, the tone knob allows you to switch between four music styles, each with or without its own tone effect, like echo and distortion. But the real fun is playing along to the six built-in famous headbanger classics, including "Wild Thing" and "Smoke on the Water." The Power Tour Electric Guitar firsts shows you how to play the song, then lets you try with lighted notes to help guide you. If you mess up three times, you get booed, but when you master the song, the guitar rewards you with a round of applause. Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3 Musical instruments can have huge learning curves, but the Power Tour Electric Guitar makes playing around fun from the get-go. The only real complaint is that the guitar strap is a bit difficult to attach. And while it's no substitute for a real guitar -- the tones and volume fall short of what could be called incendiary -- this toy guitar teaches you lessons and sharpens basic playing skills that could help lead to a life of rock stardom down the road. The included Power Tour 101 instructional DVD helps you get started. Most importantly, you'll learn that rocking out is a blast. Features include a strum bar that lets you use a thumb instead of a pick to play. Designed after the Gibson SG, the guitar includes a tone knob to adjust the sound. What's in the Box Electric guitar, cable, strap and instructional DVD _________________ Coupon Codes ~ FREE Registration ~ DaddyoDeals Hot Deals |

Product Description:
If you enjoy the fun of radio-controlled vehicles, but don't always want to leave the comfort of your couch to go outside and play, check out these Air Hogs Havoc Helicopters. Measuring a mere six inches long and weighing only a half pound, these small but mighty choppers are made for indoor dueling -- so you don't have to quit flying just because of bad weather or a dark sky. A crash-resistant foam fuselage means you can perfect your piloting skills using the dual-toggle, single-throttle wireless controller. The twin drive props in back and dual rotors on top provide exceptional stability and precise six-way directional control -- up, down, left, right, forward, and back. Sled-style landing gear means set-downs should be gentle, too. The tiny flier fits easily in the palm of your hand. Not just for meant flying solo, the Havoc copters are designed for fun with others. In what is almost like a live video game, each helicopter uses its infrared beam weapons to engage in a mid-air battle against the other. The first pilot to hit his opponent three times with the beam (complete with battle sounds) will be victorious as the enemy heads into a wild tailspin. Six AA batteries are required, but not included, for the remote controls. The helicopters are powered by rechargeable lithium batteries, and the charger comes with the set. _________________ Coupon Codes ~ FREE Registration ~ DaddyoDeals Hot Deals |
